Could it be that the world has more dummies? Not at all; as a matter of fact, the world and the trading and business communities are filled with smart, principled traders and entrepreneurs with great ideas. But succeeding in business requires more than just a great idea. The business space is governed by "rules", and "rules" confine people and limit how far they can go and explore. Are we advocating for lawlessness and chaos? Far from it, but we are only saying there is another way, a better way. Most people only look at the two sides of the coin, but those who succeed also factor in the edge of the coin, which is where the difference is made. Unlike all that you have heard and read on why traders lose money and small businesses fail, the forex market is designed for retail traders to lose money just the same way the economy is structured to strangle small businesses and startups. They say experience is the best teacher. But I don’t think that is true at all. There are experiences you better not have because you may not be alive to learn the lessons, talk more, telling the story. Even when it’s being told, it’s usually a tragic story. Experience may be a teacher, but in most cases, it’s never a compassionate teacher. Experience teaches the hard way and with a lot of cruelty, and it is time-consuming to learn from experience. It is much faster to learn by instruction.

A Tale My Mother Always Told Us As Kids
From my childhood, my mother always told me and my siblings a tale about a proverbial Nwa-ebula-Akwo whenever she wanted to teach us the importance of being clever and proactive in life. Nwa-ebula-Akwo was the least in the family of seven. One day these seven, starting from the eldest, were asked one after the other how many times something would happen to them before they learnt from it. The first said that something would happen to him just once and that he would learn from it. He obviously didn’t disappoint as the eldest; after all, it sounds intelligent and reasonable to learn from the first experience. The next said three times. They went on like that until it got to Nwa-ebula-Akwo.
When asked how many times something would happen to him before he learnt from it. Nwa-ebula-Akwo said he would not wait for something to happen to him before he learnt; rather, he would learn from what happened to others. It is written,
“Wise people see trouble coming and get out of its way, but fools go straight to the trouble and suffer for it.”.
My mother would conclude by saying that no sensible person uses their hand to check if the fire burns or uses their two legs to ascertain the depth of a stream. Only a fool of the highest order does that.
Nwa-ebula-Akwo would rather learn from the experiences (successes and failures, mistakes or misfortunes) of others than wait foolishly for the same ill-fate that he could have avoided if he had learnt from their experiences to befall him.
